Traces in the Field looks at landscape as a living visual system.
Clouds, insects, vines, light, and weather became a living field of noise, rhythm, repetition, trace, and transformation.
Traces in the Field was developed during an art retreat residency Roble in northern Italy, in a landscape shaped by vineyards, hills, insects, clouds, architecture of this region.
The work brings together timelapse studies, short video fragments, FrameGrid experiments, and projection mapping exhibition.
Documentary images slowly moved toward abstraction: insects became particles, timelapses became lines, and the landscape became a sequence of frames.
