Space Visitors transforms the facade of the Tour du Village at Château de Vincennes into a changing landscape of light. The tower’s clock becomes a source of light, sending waves across the facade and revealing different stages of the animation

Alongside it, two totem figures drawn by Stepa Aifa onto the façade become animated inhabitants of the tower. Their appearance shifts the work from an abstract play of light towards an encounter with the visitors of its title.

An ornamental motif inspired by the nearby Sainte-Chapelle connects the work to its surroundings.

I developed the light animation in Cinema 4D, working with a 3D model of the building and AI-assisted visual elements.

The wave made in Touch Designer. Edited and composed different elements later in After Effects.
